A different angle – Ranworth Broad
We decided to take a day off yesterday, to make the most of the sunshine and the school holidays.
We went back to Ranworth Broad – our son wasn’t with us when we went the other day, so we thought we would come back with him for the boat trip.
The other day there was a clear blue sky, butterflies all around, plenty of birds on the water, and we got a glimpse of an otter.
Yesterday we had none of that, but we got to the broad in perfect time for a boat trip (not planned, just very lucky) and we were the only ones on the boat.
My son nabbed the camera and took 340 shots of the broad!
I loved the way he captured the feel of the place, with different angles – great to see it from a different viewpoint.
I love the colours and textures of the trees and reeds, the vastness of the sky and the close up detail of the tree.
Here are some of his photos. (bear with me on the layout – haven’t quite got my head around inserting photos in WordPress – more reading needed!)
